Hi.

I pray you find something meaningful here.

And that you laugh.

Thanks for stopping by!

after Coeur d’Alene, we had one more family stop scheduled between us and Minnesota… and a whole lot of miles to cover.  our first stop was Bozeman, MT.  we caught 3 warm days there (we even swam in the outdoor pool!) and made some fun friends.

the family camped next to us was in a tiny house (their episode on HGTV's Tiny House Hunters aired 5/29!) and had 2 young kiddos.  it was SO fun to have shared meals outside and talk about our journeys while the kids played!  the family camped on the other side of them had a puppy named Maisy that the kids have yet to forget. ;)

it was beautiful here but our stop was short.

next up was Buffalo Bill State Park just outside of Yellowstone National Park on the east side.  we toured the Buffalo Bill Dam (our park was on the other side of the reservoir) on the first night.   one night we collected driftwood by the lake, tried to fish and explored.

This site was great for biking, hammock swinging, campfires and playground time!

one day we took a trip into Yellowstone.  we didn’t plan any of our trips around National Parks but this was SUCH an awesome experience.  I’m glad we were close enough to venture in for the day.  (the mountain passes in the park were higher than we wanted to tow our trailer, so we didn’t drive through as we could have from Bozeman to Cody, WY)

we saw animals, hiked, picnicked and played in the snow.

The pictures above include one of our big horn sheep sitings, our snow play, and the view of the icy cold Yellowstone Lake.

our final 2 days in Cody, WY were spent parked at my cousins house.  she happens to be a curator at the Buffalo Bill Center of the West and she graciously comped our entry.  we visited both days and took in the Raptor show, which was a huge hit!

most grateful to have seen her work, their home and town, and for 2 nights around the table of dominoes, cocktails and popcorn.  life is good.

from here, we essentially drove for 3 or 4 days in a row to land in Minnesota for the summer.  it was a long push but the weather was horribly cold, rainy and windy the whole way.  we’ll have to see South Dakota on another trip.

now for the driveway hopping. ;)
